What a great way to start the year ...
a New Year's Day hike to celebrate Rachel's birthday!
A bit chilly but so much fun and so beautiful.
A bunch of homeschool mom friends get
together for a once a month game night ...
Crazy fun with dear friends!
Elaine and I loaded up our bikes (ourselves),
drove into town to paved paths to take a couple bike rides.
So great to get some exercise, hang out and
stop for a fun snack!
Rachel and I celebrated her birthday with a fun ride
around Tempe and had a fun lunch out. We ended the day
with a giant plant for Rachel to take home!
Deb and I had a shopping/lunch day out to celebrate her
birthday, but no pictures.
The Macs, Nelsons and Tim and I took a family bike ride
then had dinner together at the Macs. So great and
crazy to have all 14 of us hang out!
Everett came over to spend the night to celebrate his
10th Birthday! His choice was “picky” food for dinner.
He enjoyed playing with Fischertechnik, playing Monopoly,
riding bikes and feeding the birds.
Tim and I have taken many bikes rides this Winter...
gotta do it before the heat gets here! We’ve gone to
Tempe, Mesa, Queen Creek and Gold Canyon.
We often stop for a happy hour treat!
Jonah works at Xavier’s theater so Deb, the kids
and Tim & I went to see Sound of Music!
We went out to Starbucks across the street first
and out to pizza after.
It was a great show ... great lighting, Jonah!
Lilia got to spend the night alone for her birthday ...
for the first time - she’s a big 5 year old!
We love hanging with each of the kids.
They’re growing up so fast!
We try to hang out with the grands once a month,
so the parents can have a night out!
It’s great to be with these special kids.
The Macs came over on St Patrick's Day to
celebrate being Irish by eating
Corned Beef and Cabbage!
Spring is here now and it’s gorgeous ...
getting chores done, the yard cleaned up,
and enjoying being outside.
Sure hope it stays cool for a while before the heat gets here!
