Winter/Spring 2021

It was a quiet holiday season this year...

We celebrated Christmas after Christmas - so special!

We started our re-model in January with lots of planning

and shopping (a separate entry:)

so not much else happened around here :( 

Tom got here early February to help with our project. 

 He and Tim were able to hike to the top of the mountain, 

taking a day off working!

We took another day off to celebrate Lilia's birthday.   

Couldn't miss this special 4 year old's celebration!! 

We picked up Letty on the way - great to see 

the cousins together :)

Lovely time together:  meal, campfire and fun!

We had a little time to watch the kids - sure miss them!

It's June ... Glad to be done with our house.

Looking forward to doing other things and 

being able to have people over!

Re-model 2021

A 30 year dream come true!

I've been planning this in my head for a long time 

and finally it happened!  

Life has been a bit busy to dig into this project until now.  

Lots of planning, shopping and over 3 months 

of living in upheaval and mess but we're done!  

Tim and I were just planning to replace the tub 

and move slowly to re-model the rest. 

 Then Tom called and planned to visit in the 

beginning of February and suggested we tear down walls.  

So we did!

We tore down, built new and made the back 

two bedrooms into one, enlarged the small bathroom and 

created a walk in closet. 

We needed all these rooms at one time, but no longer.  

This house now has a master bedroom/bath!

I won't explain every detail but here are a lot of pics!

This 34 yr old house is truly transformed!

We hired plumbers, drywall guys and window replacements

and stucco repair but the 3 of us did everything else!
