May was a beautiful month in Arizona....
not too hot and everything blooming!
The time of year to enjoy being outside!!
Beka's friend, Tyler was in the touring show of "Annie"
at ASU Gammage. He gave us 4 comp tickets so
Deborah, Rachel, Adah and Emsley got to go!!

So fun to see these little girls enjoy their first Broadway show!
On Mother's Day Tim and I went to the Arboretum and enjoyed
the High Trail Hike and all the beautiful scenery...
We love getting out of town!
We explored Superior and Globe...
little old mining towns east of Phoenix!
This is at the Sunflour Market in Superior...
the cutest little place owned by our neighbor, Willa!
Then we met the McInturff's at the Olive Mill
in Queen Creek. Enjoyed good food, wine, gelato,
a beautiful day and great people!!
May 8th I spent in Florence, AZ - my first Jury Dury ever!
It was a murder trial involving the Mexican Mob!
I wasn't picked, but it was fascinating to watch the long process.
Actually glad I wasn't chosen...kinda creepy :/
On May 14th we got to go to Adah and Emsley's first Ballet Recital!!

So special to watch these lovely girls do such a great job!!!
Tom visited from May 18-25th.
He came a week after his hernia surgery to
rest and recuperate on our back patio!
We had many great chats, good food, and not too much action :)
We did go to the Nelson's to celebrate Amos' 2nd birthday and
another day to the McInturff's to just hang out!
Our last night together, Tom took us out to dinner
at The Handlebar Pub & Grill in Apache Junction!
Wonderful food and drinks and owned
by our friends Candace and Dennis!
Tom left for Ohio on the 25th and Beka arrived later that day!
She drove over from LA for a week of rest and refreshment,
before getting a job and starting her life in CA.
We had a wonderful time together...not many pics, as she came
home to relax...few clothes and no makeup!!
She did bring her mandolin :)

On Memorial Day we all met at the park for fun and pics!!
Between Amos' birthday on May 20th
and Owen's birthday on August 6th...
we have these 7 cuties at these great ages!
