We had a beautiful, cool Spring… one of the coolest
I can remember in our almost 40 years in AZ!
We did lots of yard work before the hot summer!
Watching cactus bloom is a yearly treat!
I was able to do a 10 mile Bike Ride with Tim … something
he was doing daily!
Caden has finished his piano studies and spends his time
now doing lots of Ninja Warrior! He's winning
1st place here! He also helps his Taekwondo
teacher and is making money!! He came over to
spend the night...we had a great time playing games
and watching him cream us!!!
We celebrated Easter at Macs with great Mediterranean food
and a fun Easter egg hunt! And it was cool enough to
be in their lovely backyard!
Adah, Emsley and Letty's "Musician's Made" had a
Music Party (Recital)! Letty played her violin, Emsley sang
a solo and sang in her rock band, and Adah played electric
guitar in her rock band! So proud of these girls!
Beka and Root came for a few day visit on May 1st.
The next morning, Tim had a spill on his bike
(sliding on gravel going around a corner he's done
many times before) and we made a trip to the ER.
No broken bones, but torn up tendons, etc. It
may take months to be pain free...and
no bike riding for a while.
Beka left on the 6th and Tom got here later that day and was
here till the 14th! We celebrated Annette's 71st birthday in
heaven, and got the Hearts all boxed up and ready to move to
their new home in Salida, CO! We printed up signage and
got things ready to be displayed wherever they belong.
We enjoyed a fun night at the Macs and had quite a time
of music!
A few days after Tom left, Gemma, our niece from N. Carolina
visited! She hadn't been to Arizona since she was 1. It was
so great to renew that relationship!
We had a 10 day break before Deb, Lilia and Amos came to
for 9 days! So fun to see at least some of the family!
Great time playing games and watching Lilia do her gymnastics!
We had the Macs over for a fun evening...it's
amazing watching the grands play with all the toys from
ages past!
Adah and I found time to shop for fabric and
sew her cape...just one part of the costume she's
working on! What a treat to have your grand-
daughter drive herself here!! So much fun -
and Adah did the sewing and design herself!
James got at new job so came to visit before it started.
It's been almost a year since we've seen him! The
Macs came over to celebrate James' birthday and
Father's Day! I fun night of food and games!
We topped off the week meeting the Macs at
San Tan Flat...a fun AZ place!
What a busy Spring but so great to see so many of our dear family!
Over 32 days of visitors in a month and a half....
no plans for more for a while! Grammy and Papa need to rest up!
