Fall 2025

This ole house... We're busy doing yard work 

and fixing up this house we've lived in for 38 years!  

Crazy to think of all the days here.

Adah drove herself out to finish sewing the costume

she created!  What an amazing job she did,

and so fun to help a bit ... isn't it amazing?

So fun to celebrate Beka's 33rd Birthday!  

We took bikes to Scottsdale and rode to Postino's 

for a fun birthday dinner! 

 

Adah, our oldest grandkid, turned 17 in November.

Her choice was to go to Cheesecake Factory with

Uncle James, Aunt Beka and Grammy & Papa!

What a fun celebration!!!  Such a sweetheart!

Thanksgiving this year was simple and sweet!

 Seems like a first to celebrate with just James

and Beka!  We enjoyed a great meal and a great

desert walk!  Memories! 

 

 

We found a couple great used bikes for James and Beka, 

so are enjoying many bike rides in our beautiful weather!

Our biggest so far together is 17 miles! 

 Thankful we can do it! 

We had a great Christmas Eve with just James, Beka

and Root here!  A fun night of food, gifts and 

movies:  Charlie Brown's Christmas and 

It's a Wonderful Life!   

Christmas Day at the Macs ... Lots of food and fun! 

Papa won the pool tournament! 

So blessed with all our dear family!!

2025 Videos! 

Summer 2025

What a summer!!

Lots of changes - Lots of moving!! 

We drove to LA on July 17th to move Beka home.

Tim rented a trailer which we loaded the next day,

well Root and I guarded it outside as it was 

being loaded.  We had a great time, visiting 

James and the neighborhood park before heading out. 

Clay and Ray met us to unload at home! 

 

In Aug, Kristin, our niece was in AZ for a Nursing thing.

 We met her in downtown Phoenix and had a 

wonderful meal and time together! 

Beka was here for almost exactly two months.

 It was great having her here.  She started a job at Coach 

in early Sept, but got to enjoy chillin in this desert for a while.

We got to see 3 Mac girls play music!!

James visited the week of Sept 14th to look for an apartment.

He started working remote for NIKE so decided to leave

LA and live in AZ again....after years being away.  What an

amazing week - as James and Beka both secured apartments

in the same complex to move into the next week!

We celebrated our 47th Anniversary on the 16th...

a special pizza night with James and Beka!!

The next day was my 70th Birthday.

  I was told we would celebrate on the 19th, so Tim

took me out on my actual birthday for a quiet dinner.

Turns out there was a surprise party waiting for

me!! I was shocked, as I usually figure these things out!   

What a very fun celebration with so many of my special

people!!    They gave me gifts:  A Coach wallet and an

electric bass guitar and amp!  What?? 

They said it's time for me to do something I've always wanted

to do!   I've figured out how to tune it so we'll see how

it goes teaching this old dog new tricks!!  After the restaurant

fun we were given an address to meet them all at.  They

 rented a 'boat' and we all had a great time motoring 

around Tempe Town Lake with great music, thanks to

Adah's playlist, and a gluten & lectin free birthday cake! 

I love my special family and am so thankful for each one! 

 

 

 70th Birthday Album - Many many pics and videos!!

 So after that busy week we rented a trailer on the 26th.

  Clay and Ray came to help load it.  We then all moved

Beka into her new apartment! Such a big day -

That same morning, Letty's pig, Lucy had her piglets!!

At 4 am the next morning

Tim drove the trailer to LA.  James had help there and 

they loaded up the trailer and drove to a hotel in Palm

Springs.  They drove in the next day and we unloaded

into James' apartment on the 28!  

 

 Hopefully no more moves or U-Haul's for a while!  

A new chapter has started for the Burnham's in AZ
